SRT courses

SRT courses are conducted over two days. If you want to cave confidently in vertical systems, then this course will allow you to learn and practice techniques above ground and then use them appropriately underground. You will also learn how to select, maintain, set up and inspect the equipment that you will use, and to choose appropriate venues and keep yourself safe. A good level of fitness and a head for heights is essential to get the best from this course.

Rigging courses

Rigging courses are conducted over two days and will enable you to understand and comply with the basic elements of rigging allowing you to get to the front of your caving trip. You will learn to assess anchors, to interpret rigging guides, and to understand use and limitations of equipment. To get the most out of this course you will need to be fully proficient in SRT.

Guided trips

Guided trips are ideal if you want an introduction to the fascinating and challenging underground environment, or would just like to freshen up on your caving techniques and get to see the bigger systems. I will be able to tailor these days to suit the needs of your group, and give you the security and attention to enable you to enjoy your day.
